Breg® Polar Care Wave combines motorized cold therapy with active compression in a simple and compact system, making it ideal for facility and home use. Polar Care Wave is easily transported from the hospital, physical therapy clinic or athletic training room to the patient’s home, extending the benefits of cold and compression. Polar Care Wave encourages natural healing, reducing the need for narcotic pain medications.

Breg® Polar Care Wave is designed to reduce pain and edema to optimize patient recovery. Great CTU - even better customer service

I ordered the Breg Polar Care Wave with Knee Compression pad in advance of ACL Reconstruction/Meniscus repair surgery. Two weeks since surgery and it has been a wonderful addition to my rehab efforts. The only pain meds I need now are a couple of Tylenol at night.

Would also like to call out the great customer service. About 10 days after my surgery, the unit started to malfunction (would not power down without being unplugged). I sent an email to the customer service department and by the next morning the issue was resolved - a new unit was being sent overnight and arrangements to return the defective device were made.

I full recommend this CTU as well as purchase through Supply Cold Therapy. You will not regret it.

Effective treatment

Easy to use, using post operative for knee replacement. Doing a good job of controlling swelling with minimal effort

Just okay/Total Knee Replacement

First I would like to say that the pad is too small. I ordered an extra large and was sent a large. When I called I was told that my unit doesn’t offer an extra large. My husband and I both viewed the details of video where the man was visually showing the measurements. 16 to 18 inches was the difference between large and extra large. We feel this is false advertising!
It has been very difficult adding an ice pack to get full coverage, especially with all of the swelling. We kept the unit because we didn’t discover the size issue until I was home from a total knee replacement. The absolute “best” option for a total knee is an oversized SOFT solid pad. One that will reach from mid thigh almost to ankle….for your average person! Game Ready offers this as a rental, which we used on my first total knee, just weeks ago.
So I will try and recap…..
Unit works fine so far. Pad is soft but IS NOT large enough. Offer the type of pad that Game Ready has and you will see sales go up. I’m still very disappointed that what I viewed and ordered was not sent and supposedly isn’t offered within unit!!
