DonJoy Iceman CLEAR3 provides a clear advantage with controlled delivery of cold therapy helping patients easily manage post-operative pain and swelling. The Iceman CLEAR3 cold therapy unit helps reduce pain and swelling which speeds up a rehabilitation. It provides extended cold therapy for a variety of indications and protocols as directed by a medical professional. It utilizes DonJoy’s patented semi-closed loop circulations system, which maintains consistent and accurate temperatures.
DonJoy offers a variety of different non-sterile and sterile dressings to deliver cold therapy to various parts of the body when used with one of the DonJoy Iceman® cold therapy units.

A dear friend purchased this for me post knee replacement. This device chills the knee so much better, longer and more consistently than the ice wraps I was sent home with from the hospital. The first night after use the swelling had reduced significantly. Every knee replacement patient should have access to one of these!

Our son's surgeon recommend this unit for his ACL reconstruction surgery post-op. I'm glad we bought it, and wish insurance covered it, but worth it anyway. While it would be nice if these had timers built in, I plugged it into a smart-outlet and have it going on and off in 30 minute cycles all night long. A Christmas Tree timer would also work well for this purpose. Frozen water bottles are a great option to keep the ice going longer.

My Physical Therapist recommended the DonJoy Iceman 3 for my upcoming full meniscus surgery. She told me it helps with the recovery time and reduces pain & swelling. I am 24 hrs post surgery, and have used it 3 times so far- for about 2-3 hours. I am bandaged well and it cools the area nicely. It is quiet, and efficient. I will use it as long as my therapist & Dr recommend. At this point my pain level is “0”- and I hope it remains that way. I do have a high pain tolerance, which is good. I also ordered the bags for ice which is helpful.
